Vistana Owner Benefits: Abound Membership Levels & VSN Elite Levels

When purchasing a Vistana timeshare, you are afforded a variety of benefits that are determined by your Abound membership level or VSN Elite level. With the introduction of the new Abound program, there are a few different way to determine your membership level and owner benefits based on which program you’re a member of.

In this article, we’ll cover each and every benefit that is available to you as a Vistana timeshare owner, whether you’re eligible to become an Abound member or not, and explain each of the membership levels that are offered. So, let’s get started by explaining why we need two separate sections for this article.

Abound vs. Vistana Signature Network (VSN) Members

When Vistana launched the abound program at the end of last year, owners who were enrolled in Vistana Signature Network (VSN) prior to August 9th, 2022 became eligible to join the Abound Program. The Abound program allows these Vistana owners the ability to elect to receive Club Points, which can be used to book at Marriott Vacation Club resorts, in addition to the flexibility of booking at any of the Vistana Signature Network resorts using StarOptions.

This means that many owners automatically became Abound members, but at the same time, Vistana timeshare owners were allowed to opt-out of joining the Abound program. Also some owners who purchased after the cut-off date, were not eligible to become Abound members and remained Vistana Signature Network (VSN) members. This leaves us with two separate scenarios to describe the benefits that a Vistana timeshare owner could have.
