Expiring banked weeks are timeshare intervals that an owner previously deposited with an exchange company or banked, which are now nearing the end of their extended shelf life (typically one to two years after banking). Because banked weeks cannot be extended a second time, they must be used to finalize an exchange before the expiration date to avoid losing the vacation time entirely.
