An instant exchange (sometimes called “Flex Change” by Interval International or “Last Call” by RCI) is a short-notice vacation booking typically made between 2 and 45 days prior to travel. In these last-minute scenarios, standard trading power rules and seasonal restrictions are often waived, allowing an owner with a lower-value week to book a larger unit or a highly sought-after resort, provided the inventory is still sitting empty.
