Week Number

« Back to Glossary Index

In the timeshare industry, the calendar year is divided into 52 (and occasionally 53) weeks, with each assigned a sequential week number. This standardizes the vacation calendar so that a “Fixed Week 26,” for example, consistently represents the same seven-day period, typically the week encompassing the 4th of July in the United States, regardless of how the specific calendar dates shift from year to year.
