How To Combine WorldMark Timeshares

A WorldMark timeshare combination occurs when an owner elects to buy another timeshare (most often on the secondary market), and combine their current ownerships with it. WorldMark’s maintenance fees are structured into various tiers. The larger the account you own, the less per credit you will spend in maintenance costs. This can be sufficient motivation for combining, but also you may not want to keep track of more than one owner number or maintenance bill.

Keeping track of your account and reservations will be easy once they are joined together. You’ll keep your same owner #, and award month, so there’s only one login and a singular bank of credits to reserve from.

The only disadvantage of combining ownerships is that, if left separate, each account will be awarded one housekeeping token annually. Whereas you could wind up only getting one token after combining based on the housekeeping token tier structure. For example, if you are combining a 6,000 annual account with your existing 6,000, this works out to be a 12,000 annual credit account, which is awarded 1 token each year, as opposed to getting a token for each account. Although, if your account is larger than 20,000 annual credits, you receive 2. At 30,000, you’ll receive 3 tokens annually, and so on with an annual token with each block of 10,000.

When comparing the costs, two (2) 6,000 annual accounts would cost $514.16 X 2 = $1,028.32 annually. If combined, you’ll be paying just $753.88 annually for a 12,000 annual credit account.
