A waitlist is an internal system managed by a resort or vacation club. When an owner requests a stay for dates or unit sizes that are currently fully booked, they can opt to join a waitlist. If another owner cancels their confirmed reservation, the automated system alerts or directly books the first person in line on the waitlist, filling the newly available inventory.
