How Far In Advance Can I Book Using My Hilton Grand Vacations ClubPoints?
Hilton Grand Vacations owners can use their ClubPoints to book up to 12 months in prior to their desired check-in date. Owners would be required to book their deeded unit type, during their deeded season, at their deeded home resort for one full 7 night stay, but if you’re looking for more flexibility there are a handful of other booking windows that allow a high degree of booking flexibility when it comes to location, unit size, or season. We’ll break down each booking window in the next section.
What Are The HGV Booking Windows?
There are up to 5 different booking windows to keep in mind:
Home Week Priority
For Hilton Grand Vacations owners, the Home Week Priority booking window is the period of time where an HGV owner can book their deeded unit type, during their deeded season, at their deeded home resort for one full 7 night stay. The Home Week Priority booking window begins starting 365 days (12 months) prior to your desired check-in date.
Home Resort Priority
For Hilton Grand Vacations owners, the Home Resort Priority booking window is the period of time where an HGV owner can book any unit type, during any season, at their deeded home resort. Reservations are based on availability. Generally, the Home Resort Priority booking window begins starting 276 days (9 months) prior to your desired check-out date, but this booking window varies based on the resort you are deeded to.
Hilton Club Priority
For Hilton Grand Vacations owners, Hilton Club Priority is the period of time (104-90 days prior to your desired check-out date) where an owner of any Hilton Club property can book any unit type, during any season, at any other Hilton Club resort, based on availability. There are only a handful of Hilton Club resorts, and you would need to be an owner of one of these resorts to have access to this unique booking window.
Club Season
For Hilton Grand Vacations owners, Club Season is the period of time where an owner can book any unit type, at any HGV resort, during any season. Generally, the Club Season reservation window begins 276 days (or 9 months) prior to check-out, but this booking window varies based on the resort you wish to book. Making reservations during the Club Season booking window is a great time take advantage of the flexibility of your ClubPoints. It’s important that you plan ahead and stay organized by making reservations early in the season, but the possibilities are endless.
Open Season
For Hilton Grand Vacations owners, Open Season is the period of time where an owner can elect to pay a discounted rate in cash to book a last-minute reservation any unit type, at any HGV resort, during any season, without using their ClubPoints. The Open Season reservation window begins 30 days (or 1 month) prior to check-out and ends just 1 day prior to check-in, and as always reservations are based on availability.
When Does Each Booking Window Begin For Each HGV Resort?
The timeline of when Booking Windows are in effect are determined by how far in advance you are booking your desired reservation, and vary based on the resort you would like to reserve. There are 4 separate booking window charts that apply to Hilton timeshare resorts, which describe when each of the booking windows take place for that particular resort.
You can view the booking windows for any of the resort destinations where HGV resorts are located below. Underneath each booking window chart, you will find an expandable section that shows all resorts that are subject to the booking window directly above that section.
